  • What account type can i apply for?

    To apply for both a Personal and Business account with Cidrus Money, you can easily complete the online application process. Just navigate to the registration section of our website and follow the provided instructions. The online application will guide you through the necessary steps to provide the required information for both account types. By following the instructions carefully and filling out the application accurately, you can apply for both a Personal and Business account conveniently through our online platform.

  • How long will it take to open an account after I apply?

    Typically, the review of your application will be completed within two business days. The entire onboarding process, including the necessary procedures and documentation, generally takes up to one week. The duration may vary based on factors such as the complexity of your business structure, the jurisdictions involved, and the nature of your business activity.


    It's important to note that a close collaboration and cooperation between both parties are essential to ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience. By working together efficiently, we can streamline the process and minimize any potential delays.

  • Is there an application fee?

    Cidrus Money does not charge any application fee for opening an account. However, there is a pre-agreed IBAN issuing fee based on the industry for successful applications. Additionally, a monthly fee is applicable for maintaining the account.


    Transaction fees are also charged, and these fees are deducted at the time of processing each transaction. To have a clear understanding of the fees associated with your account, you can refer to your account profile on the account dashboard. By navigating to the Fee Structure section, you will find a comprehensive breakdown of all types of fees applied to your account. This allows you to stay informed about the charges related to your transactions and account maintenance.

  • How is the pricing category assigned to me?

    When considering clients applying for a business IBAN account, Cidrus Money assesses each applicant based on the following factors:


    • Identification issued by the country for directors, ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs), and shareholders.
    • The country in which the company is incorporated.
    • The countries in which the companies forming the ownership structure (if applicable) are incorporated.
    • The country where the headquarters are located.
    • The nature and level of risk associated with the business activity.

    After careful evaluation of these criteria, the client is categorized into one of four business categories. The pricing specified for the assigned category will be applicable, ensuring transparency and consistency in the fee structure.

  • What should I do if I forget my Login or Password?

    Click the reset password link at the Sign-in page, we'll send you a recovery link to your registered email, there after add and confirm your new password.

  • Can I change my e-mail/phone number?

    Yes, you can. Please contact us via online banking if you would like to change your registered e-mail or phone number. You can do that by logging in to your account and apply changes in your account. Please note new email and phone number will need be verified also. 

  • How can I grant permissions for another person to manage the account?

    You can add additional account users by logging in to your online banking account and navigating to user settings. Click on the User settings -> USERS -> Add User.

    User login credentials will be emailed to him after passing verification.

  • How can I exchange currency?

    Regarding currency exchange, you will need to wait a little – in order to simplify Currency Exchange  processes we are rebuilding the whole exchange procedure thus witholding this service for the time being.

  • How can I change transaction limits in my Cidrus account?

    To modify your account limits with Cidrus Money, please follow these steps:


    1. Log in to your Online Banking account on the Cidrus Money website.
    2. Navigate to the "Account limits" section. Look for an option or tab labeled "Account limits" or something similar.
    3. Within the account limits section, you should be able to view and adjust your current limits according to your needs.
    4. Make the necessary changes to your account limits based on your preferences or requirements.

    Please note that while you can modify your limits, the final approval of specific limits for your account is at the sole discretion of Cidrus Money.

  • Can I send funds from my Cidrus account?

    Yes, Cidrus Money provides both SEPA (Single European Payment Area) and SWIFT transfers.


    SEPA transfers are specifically available for transactions within the EU and EEA countries, and they are conducted in the Euro currency. This allows for seamless and efficient cross-border payments within the designated area.


    On the other hand, SWIFT transfers enable transactions in various currencies, including the Euro, to banks located outside the EEA or SEPA countries. SWIFT transfers provide a global reach for international payments beyond the European region.


    It's important to note that certain restrictions may apply to SWIFT services based on specific business activities and jurisdictions. This means that there might be limitations or additional requirements for conducting SWIFT transfers for certain business types or in particular countries.

  • Can I receive funds to my Cidrus account?

    Yes, you can receive both SEPA and SWIFT payments to your Cidrus account.


    SEPA payments are known for their speed and cost-effectiveness, and they are an efficient way to send and receive funds within the SEPA zone. Most SEPA transactions clear on the same day they are initiated, allowing for swift and convenient transfers.


    SWIFT payments are also available for certain conditions. However, it's important to note that there may be restrictions on specific business activities associated with higher risk nature. These restrictions may limit the availability of SWIFT payments for certain business types or in particular jurisdictions. It is advisable to contact customer support for detailed information on the eligibility and limitations of SWIFT payments based on your specific business activities.

  • What currencies are supported for sending and receiving funds?

    Currently the following currencies are supported:

    EUR, GBP and USD.

  • What details should I use to receive funds to my Cidrus account?

    To receive funds into your Cidrus account, please follow these steps:


    1. Log in to your account dashboard on the Cidrus Money website.
    2. Select the relevant currency account, such as the EUR account, from your account overview.
    3. Click on the "Deposit" button or a similar option to initiate the deposit process.
    4. Choose the preferred deposit method from the available options provided by Cidrus.
    5. Once you have selected the deposit method, the deposit details will be displayed.
    6. Copy the provided deposit details, which may include the recipient account number, IBAN, or other relevant information.
    7. Go to your external bank's online banking platform or any other source from where you are sending the funds.
    8. Paste the copied deposit details into the appropriate fields of the external bank's sending form.
    9. Confirm the deposit details and initiate the transfer from your external bank.

    Once the funds are successfully transferred to your Cidrus Money IBAN account, they will appear in your account balance.


    Please note that the time it takes for the funds to reflect in your Cidrus account may vary depending on the processing time of the external bank and the chosen deposit method.

  • Does Cidrus disclose my personal information to any partners?

    According to Cidrus' Privacy Policy, your personal information may be disclosed to the following entities:


    a) Payment service users, which includes both payees and payers involved in your transactions.


    b) The Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the Bank of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as SEPA participants. This disclosure is specifically related to the use of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).


    It's important to note that Cidrus may also transmit your personal data to other third parties, not explicitly mentioned above, but only for specified and legitimate purposes.
